The Brow Lift Procedure

The Browlift Procedure Explained

Browlift is a relatively simple surgical procedure as long as it is performed by a qualified plastic surgeon. Your surgeon will use one of two different brow lift methods, the coronal browlift or the endoscopic browlift. Which method he chooses will depend on your specific situation and the results you are seeking. Your plastic surgeon can help you to decide which method is right for you. Both of these procedures take approximately 1-2 hours and leave the patient with long lasting results, results that last years.

Your surgery will be performed in an outpatient medical facility such as a surgical suite or the outpatient facility of a hospital. Your surgeon and your anesthesiologist will help you to determine if intravenous or general anesthesia is best for you. Either can be used. This is outpatient surgery—you will return home the same day so make sure you have someone to help get you home. You won’t want to drive after the anesthesia!
