How Do Dermabrasions Work?

Dermabrasion requires a high speed mechanical device which literally sands and scrapes your skin to improve the contour. Your doctor will use this abrasive device to eliminate skin until he/she reaches the safest, yet effective, level. They will determine how much skin will be removed by observing the depth and size of your scars or wrinkles. Following the procedure your skin will scab. Once the scab has fallen off you will be left with fresh skin. Your scars or wrinkles will be less noticeable, if noticeable at all, and your skin will be left looking healthier and revitalized.
