According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average surgeon's fee for nose surgery was $2,947 in 2002.  The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery lists an average surgeon's fee of $3,751 for rhinoplasty in 2002.  (The average fee information was based on surveys of the organizations' members. Please note that the average fee information may be more applicable to cosmetic nose surgery than for reconstructive procedures.)

The surgeon's fee does not include the cost of the operating facility, such as a surgical center or hospital, nor does it include the cost of anesthesia or any medications you might be required to purchase.  You can also expect some cost variations if you are having both reconstructive nose surgery and cosmetic nose surgery done at the same time.  Just remember, choose a surgeon based on skills, reputation, experience and training and not just on the lowest cost.
