Will my health insurance cover my nose surgery?

The answer is "It depends."  Most health insurance plans do not cover the cost of cosmetic surgery procedures.  That is not to say that health insurance never covers nose surgery. If you have had health problems caused by your nasal passages, and septoplasty / rhinoplasty are recommended to correct the condition, your insurance may cover the cost of the procedure. You will probably have to have tests done to confirm the medical necessity of the surgery and go through your insurer's preapproval process before the insurance company agrees to cover the procedure.
