A 53-year old woman received a previous facelift ten years prior to visiting Dr. Mark Epstein in Stony Brook, NY. Her former surgeon made an incision in front of her ear. Dr. Epstein addressed the patient’s concerns of looking older and tired, and he performed a MACS facelift along with a four-eyelid blepharoplasty with an open lateral browlift, endocopic medial browlift and made an incision through the upper eyelid to lift the muscles of medial (inner) eyebrow. Notice how her eyebrows are more even and properly placed. Her midface is lifted, neck softened and she has a smoother jawline showing off rounder cheekbones.
