This young woman of 34 from Newburyport, Massachusetts disliked the width of her nose and wished to have a narrower nose. Upon consulting with Dr. Gray, he saw that she had fullness above her tip and also that the bottom of her nose was retracted. (Normally people have a little more of that cartilage showing on the septum between nostrils at the bottom of the nose.) Dr. Gray reduced the height and the width of her nose and used the excess cartilage from her tip to build up the lower part of her nose. The patient was very pleased with her results.
