Share Your Story!

We'd love for you to share your cosmetic surgery experiences!

Personal stories from our visitors are a wonderful way for you to help others who are having the same type of cosmetic procedure.  Here are some guidelines for submitting your story to FaceForum for use in the Personal Stories section of the site:

• Send your story all at once, not in installments.
• Wait at least twelve weeks after your surgery to submit your story. That will give you time to heal and fully assess the results of the cosmetic surgery.
• Please format your story into paragraphs and check your spelling.
• If at all possible, try to limit the use of "Internet Slang", like "LOL", "IMHO", etc.  Many people reading your story won't be familiar with all the abbreviations.
• You don't have to use your real name if you wish to protect your privacy.
• We can handle most word processing formats, but plain old text works best.  Your word processing program probably has a "Save as text" function.  Use that if possible. We'll take care of converting your story to HTML for the web.

Some important things to keep in mind:

• We may not use every story submitted.  If you want to share the concept with me before you submit your story, just drop me an e-mail at terri@faceforum.com
• We reserve the right to edit stories for length, content, and privacy as well as to correct spelling and grammar.  If too much editing and correcting is needed, we may not use your submission.
• You agree that FaceForum may display your story.

And finally, a little something from the lawyers. Please make sure you read it before you submit your experiences.  If you don't agree to these usage rules, do not submit your story.

Release Information & Usage Agreement for Personal Stories

• You agree to release the FaceForum and CompuMedical, LLC from any claim by you or anyone claiming on your behalf as successor, assign, beneficiary or heir, for the use of your name or story.
• You agree to permit FaceForum and CompuMedical, LLC to use your name or story for any purpose required or desired, including in promotional publications, advertising, educational presentation, broadcast, cablecast or any purpose sponsored by FaceForum and CompuMedical and their agents, successors, assigns, principals or subsidiaries.  You further hereby release FaceForum and CompuMedical from any liability for the distribution of your story and also release all rights in and to any claim of copyright, trademark, trade dress, or other intellectual property or other rights, royalties, commission or any payment whatsoever in connection with the use of your story.
• You understand that significant changes need to be made in order for FaceForum.com to display this story or to remove it from the website and, therefore, you agree to allow its use as set forth herein, for as long as the website continues to be in existence.
