Nasal Surgery:When considering nasal surgery, doctors and patients must consider both the appearance and function of the nose. If a doctor reduces the size of the nose to improve its appearance, the function of the nose may also be changed. The size of the breathing passages is sometimes reduced when the size of the nose is altered. Each case must be considered independently based upon the internal structure of the nose.
