Philosophy
Dr. Gerson has particular interest and extensive training in cosmetic facial plastic surgery . He is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology having completed residencies in both disciplines. He particularly enjoys performing rhinoplasty, which he views as microscopic surgery because every millimeter of change in the nose can have a profound and permanent effect.
The circumstances and experience of every individual is unique. There is probably no other medical discipline that exemplifies this more than facial cosmetic surgery where exact technique and an artistic eye is essential to achieve the best possible result tailored to the needs and expectations of each customer.
Our facilities in both Wisconsin (Mercy Walworth Medical Center) and Illinois (Mercy Woodstock Medical Center) are self-contained and state of the art with hospital grade operating suites, offices, and laboratories.

Dr. Gerson was the first surgeon in the Geneva Lakes and Chicagoland area to use ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty and is now one of the very few surgeons performing TUBA (Trans-umbilical breast augmentation) which inserts saline breast implants through one incision hidden in the belly button.
