Daniel P. Markmann, M.D. is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Markmann is extensively trained in, and practices, the art of plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is very different from any other field of medicine or surgery. It requires a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as an understanding of the three dimensionality of body proportions and an eye for beauty. These prerequisites along with talent, experience and a drive for perfection all come together to result in the Metamorphosis: An all together make-over, rejuvenation or artistic enhancement to help make you look the way you feel inside - helping to give you the facial or body features that many others were given naturally.
Plastic surgery has advanced tremendously over the past 1 to 2 decades. Results are much improved, more natural and safer to obtain. Dr. Markmann's practice is conducted in a more old fashion, personal style. We will take the time to get to know you. Dr. Markmann's consultation with you will not be rushed. He spends an average of 1 to 2 hours for each new consultation to understand what your goals are, explain to you the different procedure options and to answer ALL of your questions. Photo albums of before and after photos are also available to help further clarify what you can expect in the way of realistic results.
Dr. Markmann has devoted his career to the art of plastic surgery and personally taking care of his patients. Dr. Markmann's practice has been built primarily on referrals from satisfied patients.
We do charge a minimal consultation fee. This allows us to spend as much time as possible with patients who are seriously considering plastic surgery. For this fee, you can spend as much time as needed to obtain the thorough understanding that is necessary to make your decision about cosmetic surgery. There is no charge for return visits prior to surgery to discuss this procedure or for any follow-up visits after surgery. We actually encourage all of our patients to follow-up on a yearly basis for a free check-up.
