Dr. Strand brought over 29 years of experience to Northern Nevada Plastic Surgery. He holds the distinct title as Chief of Surgical Services for St. Mary’s Hospital. Dr. Strand is also a clinical professor of surgery at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a trusted name in plastic surgery in Northern Nevada.
Dr. Strand is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. After graduating with a medical degree from the University of Illinois, he completed his plastic surgery training at the University of Wisconsin. He went on to complete a fellowship in hand surgery at Northwestern University.
